Atelier is a Delhi-based premier theatre group.

As the logo suggests categorically, Atelier is an expression of "movement" and "space". It fundamentally creates space for all sorts of expressions, primarily in Arts. The loose moving arms are the "intentions" to gel in with people from all walks of life and the central circle is the neutral-unbiased-space we had created and would intend to create for artists and mankind. Be it theatre & performing arts or visual arts & cinema, we are very clear on our ideals: Equality, Innovation and Concern for all and every thing.

Till date we have managed to create what many thousands can only dream of. We have a full fledged theatre repertoire rehearsing and performing, "Atelier Kidz" Programme for schools, "AYTW" Asia's biggest youth theatre week for college goers and upcoming independent theatre-studio (in the making) which will be functional by August 2010.

Atelier is a Workshop of Communication Enthusiasts which has been in the forefront of devising Creative Educational Programmes and socially relevant plays.

At Atelier, we have devised and designed workshops on Creative Teaching and Creative Learning, incorporating Drama and Theatre-in-Education techniques. The workshops have been an eye opener for more than a thousand teachers and few thousand students from about 700 schools in and around Delhi.

Atelier is also into devising Interactive Short Plays for teachers and students which enquire into various subjects like Learning, Creativity, Self knowledge and Communication.

We would like to share our vision with all who wish to associate, support and enable.

Be the movement !

Human form has by instinct made endeavors in the direction of creating better possible expressions. Atelier’s objective is to create a  changing space and environment for all forms of expressions specially the performing arts. Geometrically speaking the Logo has a central space where the contents gestate and metamorphose into a lively expression towards the outer tangent.

The tangents may never converge with time but they come from the core.  Perpetual motion being the never ending momentum of expression!

Meaning

you can be a stage actor i n a theatre production or a working production team member,

or a student in a workshop or a resource worker at a school programme,

or a couple watching theatre or a working member connecting with Corporates,

or some one from the people’s connect programme or the celebrity at  the shows,

or the  member of the family getting associated with Atelier or the Corporate funding our Endeavour’s

or the  Brand manager and Creative director or the  Event team member

or the musician or the writer

or the common man who needs a voice or the activist who wants to start a crusade

or the educationist who looks for a purpose to his education

or...

or...

….the list can be endless!
